You will need to un-zip the badge template after downloading.

The template contains a red and a black circle.

The red circle is the actual size of the badge, the black dotted circle is the crop line for the badge artwork.

The area between the black dotted circle and the red circle wraps around the edge of the badge. On most designs, the artwork will extend or "bleed" into this area.

• If using a raster image, its resolution must be 300dpi
• Line strokes should be at least 0.5pts thick
• Keep your text at least 1.5mm inside the red circle

From our experience, well-designed badges:
• Use few words
• Avoid tiny images
• Avoid squeezing too much in
• Have fonts above 8pts
• Avoid background and foreground colours that are too similar

• Print a copy
• Check spelling

• TIFF (.tif) 300dpi
• JPEG (.jpg) 300dpi (at max quality)
• GIF (.gif) 300dpi

• File size should be kept under 1Mb

Colours observed on a monitor may sometimes appear differently when printed. Badge artwork cannot be re-printed due to colour discrepancies. Please post us a printed sample if you want us to visually match a colour.
